Hi I have resurrected my NAD HI FI. I have a NAD C350 Amp,

Resolved Question:

Hi I have resurrected my NAD HI FI. I have a NAD C350 Amp, a NAD C521 CD player and a NAD C420 Tuner. I have managed to acquire a Pioneer CR-333 Graphic equaliser.
Could you please tell me how to connect the equaliser to the NAD system.
Many Thanks Pete

Hi Pete,

Thank you for using Just Answer my name is ***** ***** I will help with you question.

The equaliser input needs to be connected to a tape out (maybe marked rec) and the equaliser output needs to be connected to tape in (maybe marked play).

I have a copy of the equaliser manual if you would like me to upload it.

Customer:

I have the pioneer equaliser manual and I have two phono leads which I have connected to the equaliser as you say. My problem is how do I connect it to my amp. I have tried both Equaliser and tape connections on the equaliser and connected it to tape one and tape two on the amp with no success

carlday1 :

I am just looking into it now wont be long

carlday1 :

Could you try this remove the cable from pre out 2 to main in on the amplifer.

Connect pre out 2 to the input of the EQ
Connect the output of the EQ to the main in of the amplifier

carlday1 :

Can you see the link at the far right of the amp it looks plastic on the photo it connects preout 2 to main in

carlday1 :

If you remove the link and connect the EQ in place of it. Make sure the amp is off before you remove the link

Customer:

That done it! Excellent well done.
