Hello, my name is***** be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.
- Can you please get me the complete model number written on TV?
- Was Tv working wife through wifi before and recently got problem?
Thanks.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Model number is *****
I have never connected the tv wirelessly before as our internet speed was only 1.5mb so too slow,I have recently got fibre broadband and appends are between 10 and 30mb so I am now trying to connect it wirelessly
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK, did you try easy network setup in TV menu then select wireless option to see if TV finds your router signals?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes tried it and the tv doesn't find the sky hub router
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK and works fine with direct wire connection to router/modem?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes it does
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
Thanks for the info.
Since TV works fine through Ethernet connection to router but doesn't work over wifi nor it gets the router signals then it seems failure of wifi module inside TV, sorry for this news.
There are two options as this point, either keep using the TV with wired connection or replace the wifi module inside TV to enable it to get wifi router signals, wifi module is small circuit board that mostly mounted at bottom of TV, please check following link to view the sample wifi module image...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BN59-01130A-WIDT10B-SAMSUNG-PS51D8000-UE55D7000-WIFI-MODULE-WIRELESS-MODULE-/151057729584?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item232bbe0830
Once you take off the back cover of TV, locate the wifi module and get the part number off of it and search/google it to get replacement wifi module/ board and install it in TV, its plug and play type work that doesn't need any soldering work.
I'm sorry there is no easy or quick fix for this problem and it is definitely hardware failure that needs defective wifi board replacement to resolve the issue.
I trust my input will help you out. Please feel free to respond if you have any additional questions.
A positive rating to answer would be greatly appreciated, please click on smiley face under the answer then click submit button so I can get credit on website for my work.
Regards,
Shahid.

Hi again where is the lan adapter inside the back of the tv? I have the cover off now
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
Please check following image link, please confirm is it similar to your TV?
If so, it will be easy to point out the wifi board location in TV.

It is very similar to that one but not exactly the same
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK, I hope it will work and part number of wifi would be BN59-01148C
Please check following exploded view where the wifi module is marked with red-arrow and need to remove cover at bottom of TV..

I have removed the bottom cover and I can see the speaker but is the wifi module in the speaker housing as there are no other parts near this area of the tv
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK, is it possible to provide me picture of your TV so I can view the entire exposed rear and boards etc?

Thanks.
