We have a Samsung smart TV purchased last year and have problems

We have a Samsung smart TV purchased last year and have problems with anything involving the wi fi internet connection. Films regularly stop and we have to refresh the wi fi connection. BBC iplayer is the same, then after we refresh, the sound disappears. Very frustrating! Also the Ant In Arial cable connection has started becoming loose and we frequently get pixilating.
The wi fi doesn't appear to be the problem itself as we can get films on our little Kindle Fire without it constantly stopping.
Any ideas? - has there been a problem with Samsung smart TVs
The model number is ***** - we don't have it on a wall it's free standing.

Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.
- Can you try to connect TV to modem with Ethernet cable (direct connection) to see if it helps to get better internet speed?
- If above isn't possible then have you tried to run network setup again to make fresh network connection to router?

Hi Shahid - no the network setup is what we've been doing to refresh each time the Netflix stops running. It says that we are connected and then after a while it stops - it can sometimes be half an hour or sometimes only about 10 minutes - very random. However, if anyone is watching on the same wi fi connection from the Kindle it doesn't stop at all - which leads us to believe it's the TV itself.
