Make sure that you are signed on to AOL Desktop then On the Mail menu, click Recently Deleted Mail. If it is not there then look in the saved on my pc folder
3. Click the email you want to restore, and then click Restore.
I already did that earlier - it only recovered a very small amount - funny enough though when I tried again it kind of flashed up very quickly a lot more (split second only) and then very quickly reverted to the same very small number again which I have already recovered.
That is strange, try this please> sign out of AOL Desktop then sign back in, then look in the saved on my pc folder
Then go to recently deleted right click and choose refresh list.
Try this also>and place a check in the select box and then click Restore.
I went to my pc folder - there is nothing there
then went to recently deleted when I right click on it nothing comes up
If I go to READ RESTORE there are very minimal emails - about 4 emails which are very recent
when I highlight the recently deleted the right click brings nothing up hence I cannot refresh list
1. In the left panel, click the Trash folder.
2. Determine whether the message that you're looking for is in this folder.
3. If you find the email in your Trash folder you can still restore it. Click the box next to the email, click the Action drop-down menu, and then under "Move To", click where you'd like to move the message to.
There is no trash folder on AOL 9.7 on my desktop. Only delete.#
I am looking for more than one email possibly quite a few -
cant find the action drop down box either
On advanced settings which I found there is no permanently delete option to select
