That's what I thought. I'll probably have to return it. Second time this has happened, last one was the same. The disc which accompanied the scanner also is saying that I should have 10.6 or later. I have 10.10.
Yes, just purchased it through Amazon.
i have checked online and software is available on mustek's website
however, i would suggest to return this unit as the unit itself is not powering on

Wondering if it's a bad batch of scanners that are with Amazon due to there being no power.
yes if this has happnened before there is a possibility of a bad batch
you can check at any local store and if you get this same model at same price, opt for it as with local stores, exchanges are done there and then
I think I'll have to look elsewhere for another A3 scanner that isn't too expensive.
