How do I get it to talk to my wifi if that is through an Apple Time Capsule which has no WPS button?

Click the AirPort icon in the system tray in the top right corner of your iMac’s screen to display the AirPort menu. The AirPort icon looks like a stacked series of convex lines forming a wedge shape.

Customer:

Verify "Turn Airport Off" appears on the AirPort menu. If it does not, click “Turn AirPort On” to activate your iMac's Wi-Fi connectivity.

Customer:

Click the AirPort icon again and click the name of the network you want to join.

Customer:

Enter your Wi-Fi network password, if prompted. Press the “Return” key to connect your iMac to a Wi-Fi network.

The computer is showing the panasonic network on its list of networks, so how do I divert the music?

you need to select the network and then you should get an option to connect

it said something about having to download a panasonic music streaming app but it is not available on my iMac it is only available on my iPhone, and my iPhone can't find the all play network

so if i understand the app is there on your iphone but the speaker in not visible in the list of available devices for you to connect

yes. and i would rather the speaker connecting to my iMac than my iPhone as i don't always have my iPhone on me

i'm beginning to thing that the speaker can only be connected to one device and as it currently thinks that it is connected to the iMac it won't connect anywhere else? i think this could be the case

ok i have done the re boot of the speaker and now my phone has recognised it, however it is saying it is unable to join to the network

i did, and it was appearing to work, i typed in the password ***** it then at the very end said unable to connect after having briefly connected and now the signal has gone again.

we need to reestablish the connection between the 3 devices

you need to turn off all 3 of them and then turn on router first...once its on then turn on iphone, once its connected to wifi network then tunr on speaker

it connected again, and i got the box that says you are connected! your network connection may be lost shortly. please make sure that you have the panasonic music streaming app installed on your mobile device to begin streaming music

i do have it installed, but i lost the connection before i got a chance to use it.

now select a track you wish to play

then under select speaker, instead of iphone, goto air play and panasonoic speaker should come up

no it doesn't, the speaker is there and it says cannot play

so the speaker is showing up in the app now but it will not play

yes. it shows up and then disappears again though. and it still won't play

this still isn't solving the problem of me playing it from my iMac though

yes i know i am just trying to figure out why its dropping the connection

ok give me a minute please, its strange that its dropping connection

Customer:

Turn the speaker off and after a minute turn it on.If the network indicator is blinking in blue and red, proceed to the next step
after the blinking stops.
Touch and hold power button.

The operation indicator (amber) starts to blink.
While continuing to hold power, touch [-WPS].
The mode indicator (amber) blinks 4 times.

Customer:

once done try connecting again on imac

Customer:

check if the speaker comes up listed as available wifi device

after turning it back on it just goes straight to the blue light, not blinking

Customer:

ok..follow the rest of the steps

yep i have done, i have already tried this twice though

it is now blinking again blue and red

hold power button pressed and -wps button pressed down together

does it flash amber 4 times

ok great

so right now it has stopped flashing

no its still flashing

or any lights still flashing

one light is red, one is orange and they are still flashing at the same time

Customer:

unplug the power cord of the speaker and connect it back after 2 minutes

Customer:

once turned back on , let me know if any lights flash or it comes on to normal ready mode

its not turning on at all now

Customer:

ok..this is what i suspected

Customer:

as per the led flashes that showed up during the sequence it indicated an internal error

Customer:

this is a new unit..am i correct

Customer:

i would suggest to get the speakers exchanged with another one as there is an internal fault with the wifi module of this speaker

Customer:

it seems to drop the connection

Customer:

further after dropping the connection the led light stays blue which means that its not updating the wifi status

Customer:

i would therefore suggest you to get the speaker replaced
