My s5 is saying I have earphones plugged in but it hasn't.

My s5 is saying I have earphones plugged in but it hasn't. Is there a way to disable the headphone settings as I can't here any sound anymore for calls videos etc.

open the cover and remove the battery

now press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds without inserting the battery

follow the steps

after 20 seconds release the power button and insert the battery and close the cover

turn on the phone

JACUSTOMER-9sf9olgn- : To be honest I'm not happy at all? I have been charged 28 pounds to have my phone fixed but was not fixed? Had to take it to the ee shop to get them to send it off? It was a known fault and one that was not going to be fixed in the way I was told? Waste of money and time if I'm honest about it?
