I have sam45 model ellix205 that won't print...a red flashing

I have sam45 model ellix205 that won't print...a red flashing light has appeared...any clues..

The buzzer and error LED beeps and blinks as like:
(Beep beep beep----, Beep beep beep----, Beep beep beep…)

Or is it only a flashing LED

Hmm ok. Have you tried turning it on and off yet?

Or disconnecting it from the power source completely?

And there's not a paper jam is there?

Typically all the errors will have a LED blink and buzz

So strange that you're only getting the LED

There's one thing to try, it's called Reset printer Hardware

I believe that it's going to clear your configuration though

Don't know what that means...I have no knowledge of electronics...this website has took me all day

Did you set this printer up yourself?

Because within the printer there are settings that need to be set for it to work the way you want it to.

And with the reset, it will probably clear those settings.

And they would need to be set up again.

No. But our engineer isn't answering his phone and we are desperate...you our last option

I can try to help you get the device working, but after that you would need to still get them to set it up again.

And see if you see the ESC button?

And just to confirm, the red blinking light is next to the text "error" correct?

Not next to the "no paper" text

We are talking here about a till printer..no ESC button..no nothing

Please give these steps a try

dresteve2000 :

1.Make sure paper roll has been installed properly.
2. Turn on the power while holding down the FEED button. The self-test begins.
3. The self-test prints the current printer status, which provides the control ROM
version and the DIP switch setting.
4. After printing the current printer status, self-test printing will print the following, and
pause (The PAPER LED light blinks).
SELF TEST PRINTING.
PLEASE PRESS PAPER FEED BUTTON.
5. Press the FEED button to continue printing. The printer prints a pattern using the
built-in character set.
6. The self-test automatically ends and cuts the paper after printing the following.
** End Self-Test **

Unplugged it now no power at all

Got the printout led light still flashing

I hate to tell you this, but then it seems that your printer has malfunctioned.

And needs to be repaired/replaced by the manufacturer.
