I have just had a new Sky Hd+ fitted & after a short period

I have just had a new Sky Hd+ fitted & after a short period I get a blue screen on my tv with some words on it telling me to disionncet the HDMI cable & as my Sony screen is not compatible. Alos gives me a sky tele number to ring.
it sometimes goes away or if you pull out the HDMI cable from the sky box & reinsert it. It goes away briefly.
I have swithced off the HDMI control to off & also replaced the HDMI cable with a very uptodate new one & it still occurs.
Is there a Sony Bravia tele update i need to do?
