If black vertical streaks appear on the page:
• The photosensitive drum inside the toner cartridge has
probably been scratched. Install a new toner cartridge.

If white vertical streaks appear on the page:
• The surface of LSU part inside the printer may be dirty.
Clean the LSU

michelleclive :

Locate the long strip of glass (LSU) inside the top of the cartridge compartment, and touch the glass to see if there is dirt and debris on the glass. If dirty, gently clean it with a dry
cotton swab.
