Hi,Thank you for using Just Answer my Name is ***** ***** I will help with your question.
Please could you let me know how the sky box is connected to the tv?If the sky box is connected to the tv using a HDMI lead to HDMI input 1 I would suggest the DVD player gets connected to HDMI 2 using a HDMI lead.
Carl, The TV is connected to the sky box using a HMDI cable, there is only one HMDI port on the Sky box,
what tv do you have? The dvd player is best connected direct to the tv
Carl, The TV is connected to the Sky HD box via a HMDI cable.
Carl, The TV is connected to the Sky Box using a HMDI cable there is only one HMDI out on the Sky box otherwise I would have used it. Thanks Paul.
What is the model of your tv? Do you know if it has more than one HDMI input.
Everything is listed on my initial question, Samsung SSG- 5100GB,
I have given all of this information on my initial question, I understood you have the same TV ? SSG- 5100GB, 3 x further HMDI inputs which I have of course already tried.
sorry the model number is ***** 3d glasses the tv model number is ***** to start UE or PS or LE if the tv is samsung it should have the model number on the left hand side of the tv.
What happened when you tried the other HDMI ports?
Yes 3D glasses UE40H6670ST, HDMI in 2 (ARC ), HDMI in 4 ( DVI ), HDMI in 3. comes up check connections, starts to load, then ejects the DVD.
I think the best port to use is HDMI because it has an audio return channel (ARC) this means that when the dvd player is setup you could use the dvd players sound system instead or the tvs speaker and have surround sound on sky.Could you plug the HDMI from the DVD player to the tv HDMI 2
Carl, Just tried HDMI in 2 (ARC ), comes up loading, then can't play disc, dick error.
What disc did you try? Was it a dvd?
Just tried HDMI in 2 (ARC ) comes up loading, then can't play dic, dic error.Tried 4 x new DVD's, player working fine before.
All new DVD's Harry potter, Frozen, just want to play some dvd's for the Kids where we are staying in Devon.
I am very sorry but it does sound as if the lens has become faulty in the dvd player, Have you tried an audio cd?
