I am sorry to hear that happened. Try this method and let me know if it helps please.

  1. Press and hold the Volume up key then press and hold the Power key.
    USB cable must be disconnected.
  2. When the Samsung logo appears, release the Volume up key and Power key.
  3. From the Android system recovery screen, press the Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset then press the Power key.
  4. Press the Volume keys to select Yes -- delete all user data then press the Power key.
  5. Press the Volume keys to select reboot system now then press the Power key.

Tried that. still not working

Hi still no joy, when I plugged it into the computer, the battery charging showed up briefly and then went off again, is there anything else to try?
