Hi, I have a 2006 sony bravia with Sky. My tv is stuck in wide screen mode and I cannot change it? Any ideas please?

If so, do you see a button labeled "Format" or "Ratio" or "aspect"?

I do not see any of those buttons, although, some have a small diagram above the button - which I cannot recreate as they are sony specific. I do not see any ratio, format or aspect 'areas' inside the menu settings either.

Right, I have worked out (with your help) that I cannot change the settings on my main Sky set-up. I can change it on my secondary Sky channel but the reception is not HD. I can change it on my DVD player. I am trying to change it when required and it's not going to happen. Maybe a new Sony TV?
