I ran software updates online it said no updates available , I don't know what update it means

Please unplug bluray power cord from wall outlet for 10 minutes to reset, replug back in, turn it On and check if it still shows software update available message, if so then run it to see what happens.
If it still doesn't run any update the check following Samsung link and download "Firmware Upgrade File version 1018.1" and copy it to USB flash drive as per instructions mentioned on "upgrade guide" to update the software in bluray player...
