Samsung TV LE32R 87BDR
This tv had been disconnected at the main for 6 weeks. When first turned on it started perfectly but after being placed in standby, when restarted it had an odd colour picture which looked over contrast, like a negative with a predominantlty red tint.
After a reset, it now cannot find channels, it will scan but cannot find either analogue nor digital channels but, it does have the same odd picture via scart and hdmi.

- Does the TV own menu screen come up normal or also affected when press menu button on TV or its remote?
- Is it possible for you to attach a picture of TV screen here or upload it at any file sharing site and post the file link here so I can view the problem which will help to diagnose it bit quickly?

Hi Shahid,

The main menu screen comes up normal but there is also another DTV menu screen which is "not available"

I have tried to attach some images to this reply , but so far without success, I will continue to try

Do you have Samsung remote that came with the TV?
We need to go into service menu of TV for some data adjustment to figure out the issue.

Nice, please do the following procedure with most care and at your own risk as any wrong move/ data adjustment can cause permanent damage and you may end up with a new main board in TV.
Problem seems with display panel (the screen) and we can try to adjust/change "panel type" to see if it helps to fix the picture problem. Please check following link to download 'alignment & adjustment' pdf file that has detailed info about how to access to service menu/ mode in TV and what buttons of remote will need to be used...

I have the download and for the panel settings and can probably reset these ok.

There remains the issue of the inability to scan and lock any channels, can you please advise on this
