Resolved Question:

I contacted you this am re my I-pad not being able to be connected to the internet although my desktop was working correctly.
you sorted this out but now it doesn't turn on at all and has a white line coming in from the charger to the centre of the screen with the icon iTunes.

No, this is not related as we just restarted the iPad
It is likely to be a symptom though of an underlying problem with the iPad.
If you connect it to the computer, and open itunes, what then happens?

yes it states I am having problems with my ipad and it needs to be updated and if that is not possible it would return it to its factory settings.

it states that it will update it to iOS 81.3.

Should I do that ?

It is downloading an ipad software update which looks as though it will take another 30mins to load.

that's finished now.

iTunes is updating the software on the ipad.
