to check, are you putting in authentic ink cartridges? or refills / fakes?
Please let me know
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

i have as you put it been using fakes for years and no problems ido not use the printer very often

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
Thanks Walter, sorry don't know any other word for them that is clear for my customers.
If the cartridge has been damaged in the refill process, its going to give it a false reading, the printer head as faulted or residue power is causing a problem.
as the first step, can you remove power from the printer and wait 10 minutes.
Connect the power and tell me please if you still get this issue.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

printer is still the same forgot last night when computer was off igota perfect test page with lovely colours and all sizes of squares

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
ok, it is either the print head or the cartridges Walter.
The only way we can confirm this is to put new cartridges into the printer and see if you still have the same problem.
Can you do this please?
