Problem has been permanent for 3 days, unit is switched off at mains each night along with TV

Thanks Christian
If you unplug all connections to it apart from the power, will it then switch?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Non effective......"TV" button (Next to "BD" button for Sound System selection), on remote has now started flashing continuously....is this indication of fault within remote itself????

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
Yes it is pointing to this.
The batteries you put in, these were new? You can confirm they are working ok?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Certainly...tried 8 batteries from 2 brand new unopened packs

Thanks, ***** ***** going to be the remote that has faulted.
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the remote to have it replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not failed, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you. It will then get it working again.
I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
