I have a multi function music centre which has very poor AM

Resolved Question:

I have a multi function music centre which has very poor AM radio reception.
There is a square socket in the rear of the console which is labelled AM Ant.
How can I get an antenna which will fit (and will this definitely improve reception?)

Hi there!An antenna should definitely improve reception.If you let me know the make and model number of the music centre, I can locate a suitable antenna for you :)

Thanks for your quick response. The make etc as follows;

Zennox Vinyl2CD Multifunction Music Centre D8061 & D8062

The Zennox company do not actually have an antenna available for this music centre.However, you can use any AM antenna and connect the two wires to the two posts inside the square socket on the rear of the console. You could use solder to attach the wires to the socket.The following antenna could be used:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SONY-AM-FM-Loop-Antenna-Aerial-OEM-175439911-/181700139914
