I wish to use an Ipad on my aol account. The Ipad asks me to input the ashton-home password, which I do not know. Can you please help? Thank you.

My daughter (*****@******.***) is living with us for some time. I wish her to be able to connect using my wifi. She has tried the following:

- go to settings

- click on connect to Ashton home-wireless.

- then asks for Ashton home-wireless password.

We have tried entering the security pin on the base of the wifi. The result is incorrect password.

Thank you Gail, I can get this for you, there are a number of ways, just need to work out which one applies for you so bear with me please.
First, what is the make and model of your wifi modem?
I can also do these steps for you and get the password ***** and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all.

Thanks again. The wifi is a NETGEAR N150 Wireless Modem Router DGN 1000.

I assume the "additional services" is at an extra cost of £27, which I would prefer to avoid if I can!

No problem, it is optional Gail
To get the password, on a computer already connected to the wireless, open the web browser and go to
http://192.168.1.1
You will see a sign in screen, the username by default is admin and the password ***** *****
Once signed in, click on Wireless, then wireless settings and you will see the password ***** there to use on the iPad.

Can you please go to www.teamviewer.com
Click on Download in the top right.
Go down to "TeamViewer Quicksupport"
Click on Download and download and run the program.
It will give you an ID and a Password.
Please give me the ID (leave a space between each character eg: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9) and the password ***** your next message to me here.
Do not close the program, but leave it open.
I can then connect to your computer.
