Hi, I am A. Stevens here to help with your question! Could you let me know how do you have the soundbar connected to the TV?

Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
Great, and it was working when you first connected it but now does not work?
Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
Can you try disconnected the HDMI cable from both the sound bar and TV, and then connect it again to see if it works?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

ok will take a minute, still no joy

Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
Are you able to use any other audio device to connect to the sound bar to make sure that it is working? (IE, bluetooth from your phone)
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

how about a dvd player

Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
Sure, that would work.
Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
It really depends if your DVD player supports HDMI audio out though, so it actually may or may not work
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

nothing happening think i will disconnect all and start again

Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
OK, please do, if it still doesn't work there might be a fault with the HDMI input (or the entire soundbar)
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

ok, thanks

Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
No problem...alternatively you could connect your soundbar using optical audio http://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Digital-Optical-Audio-Toslink-Black/dp/B00NH11H38
Expert:  dresteve2000 replied 1 year ago.
If your TV supports it (most televisions do have it)
