We have purchased a number of MC75A6 Units these have nuclus programme installed with pass words .We would like to reset to windows deleting programme .
We tried 1 +9 +power but did nothing Help !

Thanks William, the instructions for the unit you have are as follows
Using Wi-Fi, Ethernet cradle or GPRS/3G connect your device to the internet .
Start Rapid Deployment Client. On Windows CE/Windows Mobile: Start > Programs > Rapid Deployment Client
If your scanner supports reading of 2D barcodes scan 2D symbol from the appropriate PDF file printed or displayed on the screen from the link below.
If your scanner supports just 1D symbols print appropriate PDF file and scan all barcodes. Symbols may be scanned in any order, each symbol at least once.
Barcodes are here on this link
Connect power but disconnect local data connection to PC (USB/RS-232).
Wait for restart.
If your device has a touch screen and Windows CE/Windows Mobile proceed with calibration.
It will then be resetted to Factory Defaults.

My problem is screen shows login from uniparts programme can not get past this .

Hold the power button down till the device powers off (hold it for about 60 seconds), then power it on.
It should start without the app being open.

It looks like they have been loaded with a custom firmware, as you should always be able to get back to windows or at the least close the app.
There is not X in the top right of the app or no way to cancel the sign in?
If not, where did you get the unit from?

We purchased these units from auction house unipart went into liquidation & finance company sold over 1000 units at auction

ok, and at the login screen if you hold 1 and 9 and power what happens? I know you tried this but it was not clear what happened.

ok, they have completely customised these devices William, and have either replaced or coded out all reset processes.
1+9+power or at the least the initial instructions I gave would always work, and you would be able to get out of this app unless they have re-developed a customised firmware for this which is what they have.
The problem is the only way your going to get it reset is to see what procedure they have developed or if there is a reset procedure at all, or the password ***** sign into the App,
None of which is available online as I checked for this when you informed me of the company (which also has little to no information).
Your only method is to try to contact someone involved with uniparts and get the process to reset it, or at the least the password, as none of the published reset procedures are not going to work.

No, the only process are the two procedure I gave William, as you cannot get it to do anything unless you unlock it.
