Hello I want to save a text message thread from my brother who is now deceased.
I have tried various ways such as Samsung kies and going to the Virgin and Vodaphone shop but nobody seems to be able to help me. The Model is Samsung galaxy ace gt-s5830, android version 2.3.5

You can use this 3rd party software to extract the SMS from your phone: http://www.recovery-android.com/transfer-sms-from-android-to-computer.html You should be able to use the free trial to scan your phone, but you would have to register in order to access all of the features
