How do I connect a TV, TX-L32E5B, to a DMRT740 DVD player/recorder

Resolved Question:

How do I connect a TV, TX-L32E5B, to a DMRT740 DVD player/recorder which has only one Scart socket?. If I use this single Scart socket to connect to the TV how can I then connect to a satelite dish aerial?

Thanks Bill for the info. Does humax digital satellite dish has Scart socket? This info will help me to suggest connection setup.

Hi shahid

Yes, the humax does have a scart socket.

The problem sees to arise because the dvd, recorder, dmr, bwt740 , requires

A direct hdmi to hdmi connection and this does not seem possible.

A direct hdml to hdml connection would leave the single scart socket on the

Dmr, bwt740 dvd recorder free for connection to the humax or any othr unlt.

I do wonder why the dmr bwt740 is only provided with one scart socket..........

But so many things baffle me these days!!

Cheers

Bill

Hi Bill,Please connect HDMI cable in DVD recorder and plug it in HDMI input of TV, play a disc in recorder, select HDMI input in TV to get the picture.Does TV show DVD picture now?If so, then you can connect Scart cable between DVD recorder and Humax box, select correct input in DVD recorder and it should display Humax picture on TV via recorder. Please reply back with the results of above steps.Thanks.
