So to clarify, a number of Widgets / apps appeared on the screen, and these you cannot move or delete correct?
And if so, what do the widgets / apps do?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Time and date plus weather widget and several apps
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, can if you hold your finger on one of them, what then happens
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
A box appears with diy, system settings, solo settings,, wallpaper, theme and rate
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, I want to see if this is part of your firmware installation.
To check this, I need you to do a factory reset again.
this will remove all data and return the phone to new, but you cannot avoid this.
To do this.
Touch Settings
Touch Backup & reset
Touch Factory Data Reset
Touch Reset Phone
Then setup the phone and tell me if you still have them
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
still have them
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, they have been provided to you by your provider, and are part of the firmware thats been released.
It would have been done in an update, but if you cannot remove them, then they have made the apps a permanent part of the phones firmware.
