Hi,My name is ***** ***** certified professional with over 10 years experience. I will be glad to assist you with this. I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue. The Soundstage is compatible with the Viera and the HDMI cable is the proper connection. Did you choose the correct audio output setting on the TV using the Viera Link?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I can't find a Viera Link setting on the TV!

This is what I've tried to do. But it seems that the Panasonic VIERA TX-39A300B 39" LED TV is NOT ARC compatible. So is there any other way to connect the soundstage??
Expert:  *ElectronicsTech replied 1 year ago.
Okay, try the other HDMI. One HDMI connection is ARC (Audio Return Channel)

Does your panel look like this>
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There are two HDMI connectors on the rear of the TV set (labelled HDMI1 and HDMI2). I've tried both without success. There are two HDMI connectors on the rear of the soundstage, one labelled for DVD (which works fine with the DVD/Blu-Ray player) and one labelled for TV. I've tried both for connecting to the TV but neither works.

It doesn't look like that, no; you can see it here:

Okay, thank you for that image. Unfortunately that panel only sends audio through the scart output. The best option will be to use an scart to hdmi converter. Please let me know if you need any other assistance. Please take a moment to rate my service positively by clicking one of the stars at the top of the screen then click on submit.Thank you very much!

So that's plugging the converter into the SCART socket on the TV, and the HDMI cable from the converter into the soundstage?
