I have a Panasonic Viera TX-19E3B TV.. when I plug headphones

Resolved Question:

I have a Panasonic Viera TX-19E3B TV.. when I plug headphones in I a) get no sound in the headphones and b) the TV's internal speakers are not isolated either. Can you help please?

I need additional info to troubleshoot the issue.- Can you please recheck the model number written on back of TV? it could be TX-L19E3B or some thing?- Also, do you insert 3.5mm pin in headphone jack at side panel of TV?Thanks.

Yes Shahid, sorry you're right! It is a TX-L19E3B. Yes too - 3.5mm stereo jack, into the left-hand side panel. And nothing happens! The TV speakers don't cut and there's no output into the headphones.

Thanks for the info. Please connect headphone pin into TV, go to Sound menu of TV and find Headphone Volume option and increase the level. Do you get sound in headphone now?If so then need to decrease the TV speaker volume by using volume button while having sound in headphones.Please reply back with the result and if problem resolved then a positive rating to answer would be highly appreciated.3

And now, suddenly, for no reason I can get, it does! Might have been something to do with my wireless headphones, I think. Durrrrrrrrrr.... Or maybe it knew you had your eye on it! So, all sorted. Thanks for coming back so fast Shahid. Have a good day. :-) Rob.

Rob, it is quite possible the headphone pin was might not inserted fully into headphone jack, glad to know that all is set now.
