When I try to use iPlayer, it plays for a few minutes & then the little Circle start turning again for about 30 secs and then goes back to play for a few minutes & happens agin

Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).
Then on the actual TV, hold the power button for 60 seconds then release.
Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Although that worked for one programme, I have been away for 10 days and tried iplayer again last night but the same thing happened again. I have taken out the plugs for an hour and replaced but the programme is still being interupted

What is the make and model of your wifi router the TV is connecting to?

It is a Talk Talk router (Dino?) and I also have a Sure Signal from Vodafone

All wires go thru the sure signal, and then the router which is dlnaCE0678 - it is then picked up worelessly in onother room for the TV

On the back of it is a reset button, you may need a paperclip and with it on, push in the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
Wait 5 minutes, then power off your TV, power it on and tell me if you still have the issue please.

Just when I thought iit had worked it switched off again Is the reset button a red button - I tried pushing that in but couldn't move it so turned the on/off button off - is that correct?

No, its the red button, you need to use a paperclip to push it in and hold it for 10 seconds.

No still not working - I pushed the paper clip right in & there seems to be a button a long way down - the cover of the button disintegrated - hope that was right

yes thats correct, but you do not just push it you hold it in for 10 seconds.

To do this
Go to the Reset menu. (Support →Self Diagnosis → Reset)
Complete this, setup the TV again and tell me if it functions now please
