My printer (Epson Stylus) SX445W was purchased in October 2011. It prints well in black and magenta but the cyan capsule no longer works. I have used the cleaning operation 5 times in the last fortnight but to no avail. I have also changed the capsule but also to no avail. Is there anything I can do to put this right?

One thing I would suggest is manually cleaning the cartridge slot. You can do this first by placing a damp cloth or paper towel under the print head and leaving it there to wick up the ink. Once you see a black blob on the cloth, remove it and try again. If that doesn't work, let me know.
