I have installed sky tv on analogue channel ch68 on a Celcus

Customer Question

I have installed sky tv on analogue channel ch68 on a Celcus tv. I have tuned the sky remote and everything is fine and although the sound bar moves there is no sound at all. The sound setting on this channel is "mono" and when I try to change this it says "no sound modes available" however the sound settings on all the other channels are able to be changed.

It is possible that mono is not being transmitted to the TV. How do you have the TV connected to the sky remote?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The remote was tuned to the TV using Sky's standard instructions and everything else works fine.
The TV is in a different room to the sky box and connected to a tv link via an aerial cable.

Thank you - connection via aerial cable should not limit you at all. This TV does integrate the Analogue and digital channels into a single list. If you keep pressing channel down, you should see the analogue list - make sure you have the tuner set to the analogue channel. If you have a source button, press that button and make sure that it is set for "TV" and not "DTV". But you are seeing the image from the skyTV box, correct? Just not getting sound.

Source is set to TV. Everything is fine except the sound.

I was just thinking - do you have sound on the other channels, or do they just have additional audio options?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I do have sound on all the other channels and they all have additional options.
