I need additional info to troubleshoot the issue.1- Could you please get me the model number written on back of TV?2- What video devices/ sources (such as cable box DVD player etc) are connected to TV and does the problem occur on all video input sources?Thanks.

OK, unfortunately it is LCD panel internal failure where taping bond has lost contact with LCD glass panel and causing the line that means the LCD pixels are not getting any volts/ signal from internal circuitry to function thus you see it as line. I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the TV to have it replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you. If TV is out of warranty then entire display panel (the screen) will need to be replaced to resolve the problem but this repair wouldn't be economical as replacement screen would cost approx new TV price of same size and you would be better off with a new TV instead of spending money and time on this TV repair.I trust my input will help you out.
