I have a nexus 5 phone and i am in london at tha moment. i

i have a nexus 5 phone and i am in london at tha moment. i have been sent a bank app to down load but it will not work. this the response i get "this item is not available in your country". i bought this phone while in the netherlands but currently have a local sim card in the phone. plesae help it is driving me nuts. i have my location set on google as london

Don't do anything else. Now go to Home and from there, go to Settings- Apps- Play Store. Press the CLEAR DATA. Now Open Play Store. Accept Terms and Conditions page and now search for the app you were trying to download

You have to connect then clear data then check.

If it still doesn't work then try changing countries which you see below the Connect icon (where you saw United States). Then press connect. Go to Settings- Apps- Play Store. Press the CLEAR DATA. Now Open Play Store. Check for the app.

i tried. it will only do that if i upgrade. this is just spending money and not sure of an outcome

Uninstall that app. Maybe the free version is not providing private browsing. Install TunnelBear VPN app from play store. Sign up for an account. Once signed in, make sure “United States” is selected in the countries list and then turn on the VPN connect switch. Close Google Play store if it is open, and go to Settings > Apps (or Application Manager) > Google Play Store and click “Clear Data”. Now open Play Store, accept the agreement, skip the payment method, search for the country specific app

Try this. Go to Settings-Accounts. Then select the Google account.Go to Account preferences. You will see Delete your account. You will get an option to delete Google Account and data. Choose that and once you are done. Go to every google app you see in the App list and press Clear data for every app. Now sign up for a gmail account. Make sure that Location is turned On in your phone. (Settings-Location)Now open play store. It will ask for your google account. Enter the new account. Now you will be able to download that app.
