I have a Canon Pixma MP800R printer. A genuine ink cartridge

Resolved Question:

I have a Canon Pixma MP800R printer. A genuine ink cartridge has been installed has been working OK but now message on printer screen says "The type of print head is incorrect. Install the correct print heead." I have turned the machine on and off but to noo avail and also pressed the left arrow but I can't get machine to work. Please help.

Hi there,The print head is the part that holds the ink cartridge.If you are getting a print head error then it may be worn out or faulty, and will need to be replaced.Generally when this happens it is cheaper to replace the printer, unless it is still under its 2 year warranty.Pete.
