My new Sony TV is failing to connect with the internet. I

My new Sony TV is failing to connect with the internet.
I have tried to enter my WiFi details manually but it says that it can't recognise these & I've tried to do this via WPS but the TV can't find my router (despite it being about 6 feet away !) What do I need to do to get it to reconnect ?

Hi Richard,
I think it's called a Broadband Wireless N ADSL2+ Router. The other information on the label is as follows : HUAWEI EchoLife HG532, Firmware Version - v2.02t, Hardware Version - B.1.01
Is this enough info, or do you also need the default settings info &/or the network name/password ?

When you go to connect to the wifi network, does it see your network name in the list? Do you know the name of your wireless network?

Hi, no it doesn't see/list our network & asks me to input this manually.
The wireless network name is : TALKTALK - FDF6F4

Nope, it searches but doesn't find/list any

Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then on the actual TV, hold the power button for 60 seconds then release.

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now finds any networks correctly.
