Hi there Chris and welcome

Are you using the original remote from the unit? Or is it a universal remote?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
original
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the recorder is old the blu ray brand new
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
how can you do that
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
can you help ????
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

ok, it means they have used the same IR code for both models for this.

Unfortunately the only way to resolve this will be to movie the devices to an angle where when aiming at one device the other device does not see this.

You cannot change the IR code the device receives (this is hard coded into the unit).

So you would need to ensure that they do not see the signal at the same time sorry.

thats not an option
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

ok, but you cannot change the IR code on the unit, so there is no way to change this sorry.

They are both using the same codes, and you cannot reprogram it to a new one
