I have a recently received my new Samsung Galaxy J3/6

Hi I have a recently received my new Samsung Galaxy J3/6 cellphone and after inputting info & P/Words find I am unable to unlock screen as keypad does not function properly as shift button is not allowing me to select upper case/lower case and symbol keypad only switches / responds occasionally . I was told to try pressing all three external at once until the phone vibrated without success . Regards ***** *****

Hi Michael. Welcome to justanswer.

Turn off your phone. Now press and hold the power and volume down until a green android bot appears. You will get a list of options. Select clear data by pressing the volume down and then power button to select the option. Reply if you get stuck.

Hi Nathan thanks for advice / help which did unlock screen and is now o.k. This is similar to suppliers lnstruction except they told me to hold ln power off / lower volume & front screen buttons simultainously . Which did not work ! Best Regards ***** *****
