Hi, this is a bug on digital TV which your model (9000 series) seems to be more susceptible too.
To confirm the coloured circle is green in colour, or does the colour change?
The fix for this is to perform a system update, which will require access to the Internet.
Choose Settings within the main menu, then select support, chose Software Update, then Update Now
This process make take around 10 minutes to complete make sure you dont power the TV off during this time.
Once the update is complete you will have a message on the screen confirming the TV is now up to date, please then go to a channel and let me know if this has resolved your issue.
