I have a hp envy printer. I am trying to link this with my Toshiba Laptop to which I have failure all the time. I can send web pages from the laptop to the printer for printing and this works every time. What am I doing wrong in linking both for SCANNING ?

I PROCEEDED TO SCAN ON PRINTER AND THE RESPONSE SAYS NO DEVICE FOUND (MEANING MY LAPTOP)

ok, it likely needs to go from the computer to scanner instead.

Click start in the bottom left then type in

mspaint

Press enter

In the program that opens, click on File, From Scanner and scan
