TO SYNC MY PLAYLIST FROM MY PC TO MY IPOD. I KEEP GETTING

I AM UNABLE TO SYNC MY PLAYLIST FROM MY PC TO MY IPOD.
I KEEP GETTING THE MSG. THAT I HAVE NOT ENOUGH ACCESS PRIVELEGES FOR THIS OPERATION.

Hi there and welcome

Can you do the following please

Go into itunes, whilst your iPod is plugged in, click on iPod and then onto photos and untick the box that says 'sync photos from' & then try to synch

Let me know the results please.

IT HAS ONLY SELECTED SOME.
ON THE MUSIC LIST THE SONGS THAT HAVE BEEN SYNCED ARE SHOWN IN BOLD PRINT, THE ONES THAT HAVENT ARE SHOWN IN FADED TEXT WITH A BROKEN CIRCLE BEFORE THE TIC

can you play these ones in faded text? Where did they came from? As this means they are not actually on the computer

If they are, then click on iPod in iTunes

uncheck Synch Music

Click Remove (it removes from iPod but will be added again)

Once done, put a check next to synch music

Sorry I lost you somewhere Richard.
I tried it with my phone and that was ok
So I realised it must be something to do with the settings on the iPod.
Fiddled about with that and problem resolved.Thanks for your help.
