Can you remove the battery please then hold the shutter button down for 60 seconds then release.

Wait 5 minutes, put the battery back in and try to turn it on.

No, it still doesn't work at all

ok, it is likely the mainboard has shorted, but the only way to confirm will be to put it in a bag of rice for 48 hours.

This will take out the moisture, then try to turn it on. If it still fails, you will need to replace the camera Christina as purchasing a new mainboard will exceed the value of the camera.
