Resolved Question:

My Samsung S6 has seemingly died. Battery is charged. The left blue light is flashing. I cannot turn on or off. I have tried the hard reset (volume up + on/off switch but it seems it needs to be off to do that and I can't turn it off (assuming the blue light indicates it is still 'on')

Hi there and welcome

Can you hold Volume DOWN and power for 10 seconds and release which should then force it off.

Then try to turn it on normally
