Can you tell me the make and model of the device this has occurred in?
ok.. a TV or DVR?
Can you please remove the power to the recorder (so unplug it from the power socket).
Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the unit, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.
Let me know the results please
It was the firmware that had an issue, and needed a hard restart. We did this just then. It will now be ok.
