My Laserjet Pro 300 color MFP printer shows a '79 Service

My Laserjet Pro 300 color MFP printer shows a '79 Service Error'. The on screen advice (with 'HP & Energy Star' displayed) was to switch the printer off and then back on, which I have done. It then goes through the initialisation process and just before the main home screen appears reverts to 'HP & Energy Star' display.

Is your printer connected to a network of computers?

Cancel all the jobs in the print queues in all the computers and then turn off the printer and then turn it on again. Check if the error is still there or not.
