sorry for the delay, what type of connections/cable are you going to be using with the monitor?

One oblong plug going into monitor with four cables in a round plug going into that, each one marked one with audio in and one video in and two cables not connected masked off one audio out and one video out.

Are you sure this is a direct replacement because it is a TV. Mine is just a monitor for a CCTV system and does not get TV programmes. Also I am not sure that my plug will go into the back of it.

You can use any TV to display the monitor signal.

Your original monitor had a SCART connection and the replacement I gave you also has a SCART connection so it should work ok.

Replacement TV with scart connection does not work. I think I have tried everything. Any suggestions?

When I said it doesn't work I meant it is on but nothing coming through.

Have you connected the cable to the SCART connection?

Have you selected the SCART input using the input source selection on the remote control?
