Hi there
I have a samsung tv model lc32c530F1w. Trying to plug in wireless key but it seems the tv does not recognise it. And can not find network setting on the tv. There is not such a section on set up section. Can you help?

Hi,

I'm struggling to find any information for this TV - are the details correct?, how old is it?

Best Regards,

Rich

Probably 2005 but if you go to samsung.com you can find itModel LE32C530F1W
MODEL CODE: LE32C530F1WXXU
http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/LE32C530F1WXXU#downloads

Hi,

Thanks, ***** ***** found this now and reviewed the specification. Unfortunately, this TV does not natively support computer networks via WiFi or an Ethernet Cable, so you would need a streaming box or stick (e.g. NOW TV, Amazon, etc), or Chromecast plugged into a spare HDMI port if you want to watch online TV on this TV.

Hope that helps.

Best Regards,

Rich

That’s whaat i did. I bought the samsung stick from amazon. Do you think it won’t work and i have to buy cromecast?

Hi,

I see you say Samsung Stick, do you mean Amazon stick?

The Amazon stick should be fine, but this simply plugs into a spare HDMI port on the TV and then when you select that on your TV remote you will see Amazon TV. The Amazon stick needs to be connected to your WiFi, not the TV itself.

The setup is explained here:

Hope that helps.

I bought this one
Samsung Smart TV Wireless Adapter WiFi LAN USB 2.0 XEC Allshare (DLNA) LinkStick Dongle by JOBA / WIS****** 2.4GHz & 5.0GHz up to 600Mbps (RT3572) - [The instrusction paper says it works with my model.RegardsPietro

Hi Pietro,

I found it here:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Wireless-Allshare-LinkStick-JOBA/dp/B0764HGNY1

I agree your TV is on the compatibility list, but I think it relies on the TV having DLNA Allshare which according to this spec the TV doesn't have.

Also, I'm unclear what functionality this would provide, I guess it's just to transfer movies /images from a DLNA media source, rather than BBC iPlayer, etc?

Hi no it should get all the channel as a normal smart tv with inside WiFi.
As it Shows in the pictures. The problem
Is in my tv can not see the setup-network section. Does it exist in my model?
Regards
PIETRO

Hi Pietro,

Having reviewed the manual and spec. I can't see any mention of network setup and as you cannot find this in the settings, I don't believe the TV supports these functions. If you want to double-check you could call Samsung Support on 0330(###) ###-####
