Nothing in inbox for last 4 days. Sent a test via yahoo account.

Resolved Question:

Nothing in inbox for last 4 days. Sent a test via yahoo account. Didn't arrive. But okay sending gmail to yahoo. Have worked through all gmail's settings issues; nothing evidently wrong.

Did get message when signing in : 'might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error code: ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED'.

But have signed in okay since then.

No, Google do not generally respond on support for free Gmail Accounts.

If you send an email to yourself within Gmail, is it received? Or is an error report returned to you?

ok, if your receiving emails from yourself, your recieving emails from everyone, unless you filter them out which is not the case.

Yes, the sender is notified, but it is dependent on how their own email server works, so it can be an immediate response, or up to 7 days. This differs per email server.

When you renew it, I advise to have it set to auto renew. The reason is, if this lapses again, someone else may get in there and purchase it before you have had the time to renew it Barry, so look at the auto renew option.
