M<y computer screen keeps on getting a box coming up

If it is so, what exactly is set in the box for "Server"?

Hi John,

Thank you for your patience. Please do the following steps:
  1. Close your MS Outlook. (Make sure that close MS Outlook before you proceed)
  2. When it is closed, click on Start button (the circular button with Microsoft logo) and then in the Search box, type: Credential
  3. In the results shown, click on Credential Manager. See my screen shots:

  4. In the dialog box that opens, scroll down and locate "generic credentials" section.
  5. Did you see any entry there with "Outlook" in the name? Or did you see your Gmail listed there?
  6. If you see them, click on each, then click on "Remove from vault".
  7. Then close that credential manager dialog box.
  8. This time, open Outlook 2007
  9. If it asks for a password, enter the password and check for it to "remember the password".
  10. That should stop the pop up from showing up.
