Thank you for writing back. Is it MS Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010?
Also, when did this start to happen?

There are 2 possible scenarios here. First, the email was originally sent without the attachment. Second, the email was sent with the attachment, and your Outlook stripped the atachments.

So please try sending an email with an attachment to your own email account, and see if the attachment is received.

Also tell me if it is MS Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010 so that I can provide specific procedures to correct the problem.

not sure if its 2007 0r 2010, also forget to tell you emails with attachments do appear on my iPhone but not on my computer

So I believe it is Outlook stripping the attached files in an email.Can you please tell me what type of file did you attach recently? Is it a DOCX, XLSX file?

I have not provided any procedures since I was trying to gather mofe information to determine the cause of hte problem. You did not tell me what type of file did you attach in the recent email. Is it Word file, Excel, etc? Do you still want to continue with this question?
