  • A friend's email was hacked and consequently through their contacts my computer has been hacked. All my contacts have gone plus any mail is going straight to trash and no matter how hard I try, four hours now, I get no where with Yahoo. I have changed my password XXXXX that does not help. They have also gone into my gmail and I have the same problem there

Ok, well... the problem is definitely with the online accounts, and not simply just your PC.

GL ITCS :

You have changed the passwords.

and the problems remain.

Because these are internet accounts run by a third party

There is no option but to go the provider.

I have changed the passwords. All my contacts have gone pluss all email goes into trash

You could try a system restore on the computer depending on the operating system.

You might try a factory reset on other devices

but the problem is almost certainly resting with provider

as this has happened on different devices, so it is not "device specific"

I do not know how and one is yahoo which does not answer my problem when I ask and the other is gmail

but the first thing you have to do is contact the provider to see what they suggest

until you get their advice

as the problems reside with them
