I am trying to access my work email via Microsoft web access, but the option to use light or not has been removed as it is ticked and greyed out so I cannot de select the light option. How can I change this please

Same problem for me, which means they force it on the server.

But you can change this by following the steps below

In Outlook Web Access, click Options, and then click Accessibility.
Clear the Use the blind and low vision experience check box.

Save then close your browser and open it again and tell me if you now get the option please.

ok, its the setup on their server.

But open Internet Explorer

Go to Tools and click Compatibility View Settings

Make the page compatible for IE (so you go to it and click on the broken page icon in the address bar)

Once done, can you then select it?

I was just trying the compatibility view option, I have added this website and it now works correctly.


 


Is it my laptop or an issue with their server.


 


This also happens on my main PC at home and my girlfriends lap top so I guess I have just answered that one.....

Combination Trevor.

The server is not set up correctly, and as such, only older browsers work with it.

But running it in compatibility will get around it until they find the issue on the server and resolve it.

Doing it on any PC will solve it (solves it here on mine as well).

Normally these are Pop accounts with no calendars.

So it wont be on the server.

So to clarify, these calendars are only on the computers in outlook themselves correct?

Yes that is correct, I use the calendars to send lots of invites to meetings, but the invite only appears in the calendar on the pc or laptop I actually send it from.

ok, I will extract what you have to do

In Outlook, click File, Info, Accounts.

Then click on New

Enter in your Microsoft Account details, it may ask you to install the office connector, do this if it does.

Then tell me when the account is added and we move to the next step.
